"Flight booking or return ticket": which one to upload
The e-Visa list offers a choice, and a flight booking is the first option named. A reservation carrying a PNR shows the route, the dates and your name, which is what the online form needs to cross-check. For the Tourism F5A route the page speaks of "evidence of return ticket", so make sure your itinerary is a round trip, not a one-way into Lagos.
Plan the dates around the visa's limits. A tourist F5A allows a 30-day stay, so a reservation showing six weeks in Nigeria contradicts the visa you are asking for.
Getting the reservation, in four moves
- Decide whether you land in Lagos or Abuja. Match it to the city on your hotel or host's letter.
- Order on the booking page: your home airport to LOS or ABV and back, within the permitted stay.
- Download the PDF that arrives in about ten minutes and verify the PNR on the operating airline's "Manage booking" page.
