Is a Dummy Ticket Accepted for Brazil Visa Applications?
Brazil's official wording supports a reservation. The e-visa list asks for confirmation of a flight reservation showing entry into and exit from Brazil, and the New Delhi embassy speaks of a booked itinerary. Neither demands a paid ticket. Acceptance of any single file still rests with the consular officer, so no seller can promise it.

The exact wording Brazil uses
| Who | Official wording on flights | Source |
|---|---|---|
| e-visa applicants (Australia, Canada, USA) | "Confirmation of flight reservation (showing entrance into, and exit from, Brazil)". The same list sets a US$80.90 e-visa fee and asks for a 30-day bank statement showing at least US$2,000. | Consulate in San Francisco, gov.br |
| Indian applicants (VIVIS) | Flight tickets in the form of a "booked itinerary" covering arrival in and departure from Brazil, within a list of documents that "might be required". | Embassy in New Delhi, gov.br |
Since 10 April 2025, Australian, Canadian and US passport holders again need visas for Brazil, which is why the e-visa list exists. Last checked: October 2026.
Reading the rules honestly
"Reservation" and "booked itinerary" describe what we supply: seats held in your name on real flights, with a PNR the airline recognises. Neither phrase requires a ticket number or payment to the airline. So, on the words alone, a reservation fits.
Two caveats. First, wording is not a promise. An officer who doubts your plans can ask for more, and the decision is theirs. Second, a reservation is only useful while it is live and consistent with the rest of your file. A PNR that has lapsed by the time someone checks it, or dates that clash with your hotel, will do more harm than good.
Where a reservation would not be the right document
- At airline check-in, if the carrier wants proof of onward travel for a one-way passenger. Buy a ticket for that.
- If a consulate later asks for a ticket purchase in writing for your specific case.
Does nationality change the answer?
It changes whether you need a visa at all. Brazil's consular visa table, updated 26 August 2026, shows ordinary passports from the UAE and Qatar as visa-exempt for up to 90 days, while India, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain are visa-required. Source: Itamaraty visa regime table. If you are visa-exempt, the reservation question never reaches a consulate.
A quick scenario
Divya, from Bengaluru, is visiting a friend in Rio from 3 to 17 July 2027. Her file includes a BLR–GIG reservation via a European hub, her friend's invitation with address, and bank statements. The reservation meets the itinerary item; the funds and invitation do the persuading. After approval she buys a fare she can change, because July fares to South America rise quickly.
What an officer can actually verify
A consular officer holding your file can see the airline, flight numbers, dates and a six-character PNR. With your surname, that PNR can be looked up on the operating airline's manage-booking page while the hold is active. What the officer cannot see is whether you intend to fly those exact flights; nobody expects that, since you will buy the real fare after approval. Their real question is whether the trip is plausible and whether you will leave Brazil on time. A consistent reservation answers the first part. Your finances, job and travel history answer the second.
Our position, stated plainly
We sell a genuine airline reservation that matches the words Brazil uses. We do not sell approval, and we do not describe the document as a ticket. If your consulate asks you to purchase a fare, do so; the reservation will have done its job in the planning stage.
Brazil acceptance FAQs
Does Brazil require a paid flight ticket for a tourist visa?
Not on its published lists. The e-visa list says confirmation of flight reservation, and the New Delhi VIVIS page refers to a booked itinerary.
Can anyone guarantee that Brazil will accept my reservation?
No. The consular officer decides each application. We can only make sure the reservation is genuine, checkable and matches your dates.
Does a Saudi citizen need a Brazil visa?
Yes, according to Itamaraty's visa table. Emirati and Qatari ordinary passports are exempt for up to 90 days.
What happens if my reservation lapses before a decision?
Contact us for a fresh reservation with the same dates. The hold window is shown on the booking page before you pay.

Dummy ticket price by country
The price follows the country of your phone number, not the destination. One way and round trip cost the same; multi-city itineraries are priced per pair of flights and a hotel booking costs the same per stay.
| Phone number from | Flight reservation |
|---|---|
| India | ₹699 per passenger |
| United Arab Emirates | AED 33 per passenger |
| Saudi Arabia | SAR 34 per passenger |
| Qatar | QAR 33 per passenger |
| Oman | OMR 3.5 per passenger |
| Kuwait | KWD 2.75 per passenger |
| United States and Canada | $9 per passenger |
| United Kingdom | £7 per passenger |
| Everywhere else | $9 per passenger |
Paid through Razorpay by UPI, card or netbanking. The reservation is emailed in about 10 minutes and stays valid for up to 2 weeks; the airline decides the exact period, so book close to your appointment.
What you receive
The same itinerary format the airline itself sends, with a six-character booking reference (PNR) that resolves on the airline's "Manage booking" page. Every reservation shows:
- Passenger names exactly as on the passport
- Airline, flight numbers, dates and times
- Live PNR / booking reference you can check yourself
- Departure and arrival airports
- Class of travel and baggage allowance

A short walkthrough of the booking page, 1 minute 23 seconds with voice-over: enter your route and passengers, pay, and receive your reservation with its PNR by email.
- Route and passengers. Choose one way, round trip or multi-city, pick the airports and dates, and enter names as on the passport.
- Pay. UPI, cards or netbanking through Razorpay.
- Receive your PNR. The reservation arrives by email in about 10 minutes.
Why a live reservation beats a free "ticket generator"
A generated ticket has no PNR. A visa officer who checks it finds nothing, and a refusal for a false document is the hardest kind to appeal.
| What the embassy checks | DummyTicketPrice | Free "ticket generator" | Buying a real ticket |
|---|---|---|---|
| PNR resolves on the airline website | Yes: a live reservation | No PNR | Yes |
| Cost per passenger | ₹699 / $9 | Free | The full fare at risk |
| Delivery | About 10 minutes by email | Instant | Instant |
| If the visa is refused | Only the ₹699 / $9 fee | Refusal for false documents | Cancellation fees |
| Order accuracy | Issued exactly as entered; check before paying | — | Change fees |
