Dummy Flight Ticket for Turkey Student Visa – One-Way PNR, ₹699
For a Türkiye student visa lodged in India, the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi lists a one-way ticket reservation among the required papers, so a held booking fits the checklist and no fare needs paying yet. We book one-way reservations to Istanbul or Ankara with a live PNR for ₹699 per student ($9 outside India), sent in about ten minutes.

What Türkiye's official pages say
- No e-Visa for study. The e-Visa is only for tourism or trade; study needs a visa from a Turkish embassy or consulate. Source: Turkish Consulate General New York, mfa.gov.tr.
- Where to apply in India. The New Delhi embassy directs student applications to the Gateway visa application company, not to the embassy counter. Source: yenidelhi-be.mfa.gov.tr.
- Flight document. The same list asks for a “reservation one way ticket”, alongside travel insurance covering at least the first four months, a police clearance certificate, the university acceptance letter and a tuition fee receipt.
- Timing. Clearance by Turkish authorities takes a minimum of a month, and longer at the start of the academic year.
Last checked: October 2026. Students living outside India should use the list published by the Turkish mission where they live.
Why the list says one way
A degree runs for years, and nobody expects you to know the date you will fly home at the end. The embassy therefore asks only for the outbound leg. Submitting a return booking is not wrong, but an invented return date can look odd next to a four-year programme, so stick to what the checklist requests.
Pick the right Turkish airport
- Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side, for most universities in central and European Istanbul.
- Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side, closer to campuses in Kadıköy, Ataşehir, Pendik or Tuzla.
- Ankara Esenboğa (ESB) for universities in the capital.
The airport does not change the visa decision, but it should make sense with the address in your acceptance letter and accommodation papers.
A September intake, worked backwards
Aisha has an offer from a university in Istanbul with orientation on 14 September 2027.
| Date | Action |
|---|---|
| Early July | Pays the first tuition instalment, gets the receipt and requests her police clearance certificate. |
| Mid-July | Buys insurance covering at least her first four months in Türkiye. |
| A few days before the Gateway appointment | Orders a one-way reservation DEL → IST for 10 September and checks the PNR online. |
| Late July | Submits through Gateway, leaving more than the minimum month for clearance. |
| After the visa | Buys the real ticket, ideally for the same date. |
The reservation cost her ₹699. A classmate applying from Dubai would pay AED 33, and one in Riyadh SAR 34.
Student-specific mistakes
- Using the e-Visa. It is tempting because it is quick, but Turkish missions say it covers tourism and trade only, not study.
- Flight date before the visa is likely. With clearance taking at least a month, a flight dated two weeks after submission looks unrealistic.
- Insurance shorter than four months. The list is specific; a 30-day travel policy will not meet it.
- Name order on Indian passports. If your passport shows only a given name with a blank surname field, the reservation must follow that layout. Ask us before paying if you are unsure.
No airline will let you board on it. It is emailed in about ten minutes, and the PNR shows up when you search for it on the airline's site.
Türkiye student visa: flight questions
01Does the Turkish embassy in India want a return ticket for a student visa?
No. The New Delhi embassy's student list asks for a reservation of a one-way ticket, which reflects the long stay of a degree programme.
02Can I study in Türkiye on an e-Visa?
No. Turkish missions state that the e-Visa is valid only for tourism or trade. Study requires a visa issued by an embassy or consulate.
03Where do Indian students submit the application?
The Turkish Embassy in New Delhi refers applicants to the Gateway visa application company. The embassy itself does not give updates on applications.
04How far ahead should I book the reservation?
Book it a few days before your appointment and date the flight after the expected clearance period, which the embassy says is at least a month.

Dummy ticket price by country
The price follows the country of your phone number, not the destination. One way and round trip cost the same; multi-city itineraries are priced per pair of flights and a hotel booking costs the same per stay.
| Phone number from | Flight reservation |
|---|---|
| India | ₹699 per passenger |
| United Arab Emirates | AED 33 per passenger |
| Saudi Arabia | SAR 34 per passenger |
| Qatar | QAR 33 per passenger |
| Oman | OMR 3.5 per passenger |
| Kuwait | KWD 2.75 per passenger |
| United States and Canada | $9 per passenger |
| United Kingdom | £7 per passenger |
| Everywhere else | $9 per passenger |
Paid through Razorpay by UPI, card or netbanking. The reservation is emailed in about 10 minutes and stays valid for up to 2 weeks; the airline decides the exact period, so book close to your appointment.
What you receive
The same itinerary format the airline itself sends, with a six-character booking reference (PNR) that resolves on the airline's "Manage booking" page. Every reservation shows:
- Passenger names exactly as on the passport
- Airline, flight numbers, dates and times
- Live PNR / booking reference you can check yourself
- Departure and arrival airports
- Class of travel and baggage allowance
Watch: how to book a dummy ticket
A short walkthrough of the booking page, 1 minute 23 seconds with voice-over: enter your route and passengers, pay, and receive your reservation with its PNR by email.
- Route and passengers. Choose one way, round trip or multi-city, pick the airports and dates, and enter names as on the passport.
- Pay. UPI, cards or netbanking through Razorpay.
- Receive your PNR. The reservation arrives by email in about 10 minutes.
Why a live reservation beats a free "ticket generator"
A generated ticket has no PNR. A visa officer who checks it finds nothing, and a refusal for a false document is the hardest kind to appeal.
| What the embassy checks | DummyTicketPrice | Free "ticket generator" | Buying a real ticket |
|---|---|---|---|
| PNR resolves on the airline website | Yes: a live reservation | No PNR | Yes |
| Cost per passenger | ₹699 / $9 | Free | The full fare at risk |
| Delivery | About 10 minutes by email | Instant | Instant |
| If the visa is refused | Only the ₹699 / $9 fee | Refusal for false documents | Cancellation fees |
| Order accuracy | Issued exactly as entered; check before paying | — | Change fees |
