Dummy Flight Ticket for Visa from Mumbai – Verified PNR from ₹699
Mumbai applicants usually lodge Schengen and UK files at VFS Global centres in the city, and Germany's tourism checklist names a flight reservation as a required document. We create one departing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International (BOM) for ₹699 per passenger, with a live PNR, in your inbox within roughly ten minutes.

- Germany: the Schengen tourism checklist for India names a flight reservation as a required document (item 11, checklist dated 3 September 2024). It adds that an application lodged at a VFS centre needs up to two working days to reach the visa section. Source: india.diplo.de.

One city, three different flight expectations
| Destination | What the official guidance says | What we suggest |
|---|---|---|
| Germany | Flight reservation listed as required | Include the reservation PDF |
| Netherlands | Reservation in your name; paid ticket not needed | Include the reservation PDF |
| United Kingdom | Flight bookings described by GOV.UK as less useful evidence | Optional; see our UK page |
BOM or Navi Mumbai?
With a second airport now serving the region, check which one your real flight would use. Residents of Panvel, Kharghar or Belapur may find Navi Mumbai closer, but confirm that your airline actually flies your route from there. Whichever you choose, put it as the origin so the reservation and your cover letter tell the same story.
Worked example: a Diwali trip to Germany
Neha, a UX designer in Thane, wants ten days in Germany over Diwali, flying on 6 November and back on 16 November. Germany's checklist warns of a two-working-day transfer from VFS to the visa section, so she books her VFS Mumbai appointment in late September rather than October. Two days before the appointment she orders BOM–FRA with a return from Munich, pays ₹699, and opens the PNR herself on the carrier's Manage booking screen that night.
Applying from elsewhere in Maharashtra
Applicants from Nashik, Aurangabad or Kolhapur usually travel to Mumbai or Pune for the VFS appointment. That is fine, but the reservation should begin where your flight abroad will really leave. If you will take a domestic connection into BOM, add it as the first leg so the travel day on your form makes sense.
Booking for a family? Each traveller costs ₹699, so a couple with two children pays ₹2,796 for a round trip, with all four names under one PNR. If the German checklist's proof of accommodation is still missing, we also issue hotel bookings, priced per stay per traveller.
Common Mumbai slip-ups
- Ordering a month early, then finding the hold has lapsed. The hold window is shown before payment.
- Using a Delhi origin copied from a friend's sample PDF.
- Booking for a spouse under a maiden name that no longer matches the passport.
- Paying for premium VFS services believing they affect the decision; VFS says they do not.
Mumbai applicants ask
Does the German consulate need a flight reservation from Mumbai applicants?
Germany's tourism checklist for India lists a flight reservation as a required document. It does not ask for a paid ticket.
Can my reservation start from Navi Mumbai instead of BOM?
Yes, if that is where you will fly from. Enter it as the origin; the price stays ₹699 per passenger.
Which VFS centre in Mumbai should I use?
Book whichever centre the appointment system offers for your destination. The reservation is the same whichever centre you attend.
How early should I order before my VFS slot?
Ideally a day or two before. The PDF usually lands within ten minutes, and you will see the hold window at checkout.

Dummy ticket price for applicants in India
If your phone number is a India number (+91), a flight reservation costs ₹699 per passenger, one way or round trip. The price follows the country of your phone number, not where you are flying, so a Mumbai applicant pays the same for Dubai, London or Toronto. Multi-city itineraries are priced per pair of flights and a hotel booking costs the same per stay.
| Phone number from | Flight reservation |
|---|---|
| India (+91) | ₹699 per passenger |
| United Arab Emirates | AED 33 per passenger |
| Saudi Arabia | SAR 34 per passenger |
| Qatar | QAR 33 per passenger |
| Oman | OMR 3.5 per passenger |
| Kuwait | KWD 2.75 per passenger |
| United States and Canada | $9 per passenger |
| United Kingdom | £7 per passenger |
| Everywhere else | $9 per passenger |
Paid through Razorpay by UPI, card or netbanking. The reservation is emailed in about 10 minutes and stays valid for up to 2 weeks; the airline decides the exact period, so book close to your appointment.
What you receive
The same itinerary format the airline itself sends, with a six-character booking reference (PNR) that resolves on the airline's "Manage booking" page. Every reservation shows:
- Passenger names exactly as on the passport
- Airline, flight numbers, dates and times
- Live PNR / booking reference you can check yourself
- Departure and arrival airports
- Class of travel and baggage allowance
Watch: how to book a dummy ticket
A short walkthrough of the booking page, 1 minute 23 seconds with voice-over: enter your route and passengers, pay, and receive your reservation with its PNR by email.
- Route and passengers. Choose one way, round trip or multi-city, pick the airports and dates, and enter names as on the passport.
- Pay. UPI, cards or netbanking through Razorpay.
- Receive your PNR. The reservation arrives by email in about 10 minutes.
Why a live reservation beats a free "ticket generator"
A generated ticket has no PNR. A visa officer who checks it finds nothing, and a refusal for a false document is the hardest kind to appeal.
| What the embassy checks | DummyTicketPrice | Free "ticket generator" | Buying a real ticket |
|---|---|---|---|
| PNR resolves on the airline website | Yes: a live reservation | No PNR | Yes |
| Cost per passenger | ₹699 / $9 | Free | The full fare at risk |
| Delivery | About 10 minutes by email | Instant | Instant |
| If the visa is refused | Only the ₹699 / $9 fee | Refusal for false documents | Cancellation fees |
| Order accuracy | Issued exactly as entered; check before paying | — | Change fees |
