How to Get a Dummy Ticket for Israel Visa
Israel's rules depend on your passport and where you live. Indians resident in India can now apply online for an eVisa-B2, while the embassy checklist used in the UAE lists flight and hotel bookings. A reservation with a live PNR covers the flight part for ₹699 in India or AED 33 in the UAE.

Israel's entry routes, as published by Israeli missions
- Indian and Sri Lankan passport holders living in India or Sri Lanka can apply for an eVisa-B2 online. The Consulate General in Mumbai announced the pilot; its page was last updated on 21 July 2025. Source: embassies.gov.il/mumbai.
- Those applications are made on the Population and Immigration Authority portal, israel-entry.piba.gov.il.
- Since 1 January 2025, nationals of visa-exempt countries must have an approved ETA-IL before their flight to Israel. Source: embassies.gov.il/india.
- For UAE residents, VFS Global's Israel page carries the Israel Embassy Abu Dhabi checklist for B2 tourist and family visits, which lists flight and hotel bookings as item 16. The same PDF still asks for COVID-era items such as vaccine certificates, so ask VFS whether it is current. Source: vfsglobal.com.

Find your situation
| You are | Likely route | Flight reservation |
|---|---|---|
| Indian passport, living in India | eVisa-B2 on the PIBA portal | Keep one ready in case the form asks for travel dates |
| Indian passport, living in the UAE | Embassy in Abu Dhabi, via VFS Global | Listed on the checklist, alongside hotel bookings |
| Visa-exempt passport (for example British) | ETA-IL before departure | Not part of a visa file |
We could not read a complete official document list for the eVisa-B2, so we do not claim a ticket is compulsory for it. If the online form requests one, upload the reservation PDF.
Shaping a believable Israel itinerary
Many Indian visitors travel on church, heritage or pilgrimage tours where a local operator arranges coaches and guides. Ask the operator for the first and last tour days and set the flights either side of them. If you travel independently, list the cities you will sleep in; the Abu Dhabi checklist expects a hotel reservation showing the hotel name and city. We can add hotel bookings, priced per stay per traveller, so both documents line up.
Example: a Kochi couple on a pilgrimage tour
Thomas and Mary from Kochi join an eight-night tour beginning in Tel Aviv on 10 March. Their reservation shows COK to TLV arriving on 9 March, the evening before the tour, and TLV to COK on 18 March. Two passengers at ₹699 each comes to ₹1,398. Hotel bookings for Jerusalem and Tiberias match the operator's programme night by night.
Gulf residents outside the UAE
Indians working in Oman or Kuwait fall outside the India pilot, and the Abu Dhabi checklist is published for UAE applicants. We keep separate pages for Muscat and Kuwait City, linked below. Whichever mission handles your file, start the reservation in the city where you live and work; it is priced at OMR 3.5 in Oman and KWD 2.75 in Kuwait.
Errors we see on Israel files
- Hotel nights that begin a day after the flight lands.
- Given name and surname swapped compared with the passport, especially for single-name passports.
- Assuming ETA-IL applies to Indian passports. It is for visa-exempt nationals only.
- Following the Abu Dhabi checklist while applying from India, or the reverse.
Israel visa flight questions
Does the eVisa-B2 require a flight reservation?
The announcements we checked describe who may apply but not the full document list. The online form shows what to upload, and having a reservation with your intended dates ready avoids delays if it is requested.
I am an Indian citizen working in Dubai. Can I use the India eVisa pilot?
The Mumbai consulate describes the pilot for Indian and Sri Lankan passport holders residing in India or Sri Lanka. UAE residents should follow the Abu Dhabi embassy checklist published through VFS Global.
Do Indian passport holders need an ETA-IL?
No. ETA-IL is for nationals of visa-exempt countries, while Indian passport holders apply for a visa.
What does an Israel flight reservation cost?
₹699 per passenger when booked from India, AED 33 from the UAE and $9 in most other countries, whether one way or round trip.

Dummy ticket price by country
The price follows the country of your phone number, not the destination. One way and round trip cost the same; multi-city itineraries are priced per pair of flights and a hotel booking costs the same per stay.
| Phone number from | Flight reservation |
|---|---|
| India | ₹699 per passenger |
| United Arab Emirates | AED 33 per passenger |
| Saudi Arabia | SAR 34 per passenger |
| Qatar | QAR 33 per passenger |
| Oman | OMR 3.5 per passenger |
| Kuwait | KWD 2.75 per passenger |
| United States and Canada | $9 per passenger |
| United Kingdom | £7 per passenger |
| Everywhere else | $9 per passenger |
Paid through Razorpay by UPI, card or netbanking. The reservation is emailed in about 10 minutes and stays valid for up to 2 weeks; the airline decides the exact period, so book close to your appointment.
What you receive
The same itinerary format the airline itself sends, with a six-character booking reference (PNR) that resolves on the airline's "Manage booking" page. Every reservation shows:
- Passenger names exactly as on the passport
- Airline, flight numbers, dates and times
- Live PNR / booking reference you can check yourself
- Departure and arrival airports
- Class of travel and baggage allowance
Watch: how to book a dummy ticket
A short walkthrough of the booking page, 1 minute 23 seconds with voice-over: enter your route and passengers, pay, and receive your reservation with its PNR by email.
- Route and passengers. Choose one way, round trip or multi-city, pick the airports and dates, and enter names as on the passport.
- Pay. UPI, cards or netbanking through Razorpay.
- Receive your PNR. The reservation arrives by email in about 10 minutes.
Why a live reservation beats a free "ticket generator"
A generated ticket has no PNR. A visa officer who checks it finds nothing, and a refusal for a false document is the hardest kind to appeal.
| What the embassy checks | DummyTicketPrice | Free "ticket generator" | Buying a real ticket |
|---|---|---|---|
| PNR resolves on the airline website | Yes: a live reservation | No PNR | Yes |
| Cost per passenger | ₹699 / $9 | Free | The full fare at risk |
| Delivery | About 10 minutes by email | Instant | Instant |
| If the visa is refused | Only the ₹699 / $9 fee | Refusal for false documents | Cancellation fees |
| Order accuracy | Issued exactly as entered; check before paying | — | Change fees |
