Submission day in Mysore: the tick-box list I send the night before

Your appointment is at VFS Global Bangalore, so you leave Mysore around 4.30 am to reach the centre on time. Print everything. Do not carry your file only on the phone.

  • Passport, plus a photocopy of the first and last pages
  • Appointment letter with the barcode, printed
  • Flight reservation page showing the PNR and both sectors
  • Hotel booking for every night of the stated trip
  • Travel insurance covering the full Schengen or UK period
  • Cover letter dated the same week, signed in blue ink
  • Six months of bank statements with the bank seal
  • ITR acknowledgements for two years
  • Formal photos, 35x45 mm, white background
  • Old passports, even expired ones with earlier stamps
  • Cash or card for the VFS service fee and courier
  • One pen that actually writes

Check the PNR on the airline website that morning. If it does not open, message us before you board the train.

You can book a dummy ticket for visa in about two minutes and have the PDF before your appointment.

What a Mysore applicant gains: four hard numbers

Money first. A real Mysore to Frankfurt return on a normal airline costs between ₹52,000 and ₹98,000 if you buy it before a visa interview. Our reservation costs ₹599 per passenger. The saving is not a discount. It is money you keep until the visa is actually stamped.

Second number: 10 minutes. From payment to the PDF in your inbox, the usual wait is about ten minutes. That matters when your VFS Global Bangalore slot is on Friday and you are booking on Wednesday night.

Third: 1.2 lakh reservations issued since 2019. We are a Mangaluru office, so Karnataka files are routine work here. Mysore applicants make up a fair share, mostly for Schengen and UK visitor visas.

Fourth: two weeks. A held PNR usually stays live for a few days and sometimes up to about two weeks. The airline decides the exact cut-off, not us. Order 1 to 3 days before the appointment and the reservation will be active when the officer looks at it.

Dates stay flexible in the sense that you have not paid for a real ticket. If the visa comes through for a different travel month, you simply buy the real ticket later on the dates that suit you.

Six things I tell Mysore clients before they pay ₹599

  1. Order 1 to 3 days before the VFS Global Bangalore appointment, never a month early. A long gap between the PNR date and the submission date is the easiest thing for an officer to question.
  2. Upload the passport bio page first. Our form reads the machine-readable lines and fills names, passport number and dates automatically. Spelling mistakes usually come from typing by hand.
  3. Match the flight dates to your hotel nights and your insurance period. If the reservation shows 12 May and the hotel starts 15 May, you have a gap the officer will notice.
  4. Carry the printout, not just the phone screen. At the VFS counter staff usually take the paper copy and staple it into the file.
  5. Do not alter our PDF. Do not add logos, notes or a booking reference of your own. Submit it exactly as it arrives.
  6. Once the order is placed, the reservation is issued exactly as entered. There are no changes, corrections or re-issues after payment, free or paid. If a date is wrong, that is a fresh paid order. Verify every field before you pay.

All visa types for this city are on the dummy ticket Mysore page.

What the visa officer looks for and what our reservation shows

What the visa authority checksWhat our reservation shows
A live booking reference the airline acceptsA real PNR held in the airline system, open on the airline website
Passenger name matching the passport exactlyName taken from the passport copy you upload
Both departure and return sectors for a round tripOutbound and inbound flights on one reservation page
Dates that agree with hotel and insuranceThe dates you entered at the time of booking
A route that makes sense for the stated purposeThe city pair you selected, on a scheduled airline
No sign of a homemade or edited documentA clean airline-style itinerary PDF, nothing added

One line I add every time. This is a reservation, not a ticket. No e-ticket number is issued and it cannot be used to board a flight. Officers in Bangalore know this and generally accept it for a visa file.

From your phone in Vijayanagar to a held PNR: the booking form fields

You do not visit any office in Mysore. The whole thing runs from the form on our website, and it takes about two minutes of typing.

The form asks for six things. Full name of every passenger as printed on the passport. Passport number. Date of birth. Departure city and arrival city. Travel date and return date. A mobile number and email where the PDF should reach.

Then you upload a photo or scan of the passport bio page. The software reads the lines at the bottom and fills the name fields by itself. You can also type the details manually if the scan is unclear. Check the spellings twice, because the reservation is issued exactly as entered.

Payment is through Razorpay. Card, net banking and UPI all work, and the price is ₹599 per passenger whether the trip is one way or round trip, adult or child. There is no urgent charge and no extra for a family booking.

The email arrives in about ten minutes, usually sooner. It contains the itinerary PDF with the PNR, the flight numbers, the times and the passenger names, plus a short note on how to check the PNR on the airline website. Save the PDF, print two copies, and keep the email in case the officer asks a question about the booking source.

Five reasons Mysore applicants pick our ₹599 reservation

One. The price is flat at ₹599 per passenger. Five family members pay ₹2,995, not five different rates with a child surcharge added on.

Two. There is a real PNR behind the page. We have been issuing since 2019 and have crossed 1.2 lakh reservations, so we know which airlines keep a hold open long enough for a Bangalore appointment.

Three. Delivery in about ten minutes, at any hour, including the night before your slot.

Four. Support on WhatsApp from Mangaluru, in Kannada, English or Hindi. You ask a question and a person answers, not a bot.

Five. We tell you the limits openly. The hold usually lasts from a few days to about two weeks, the airline decides when it drops, and there are no changes or corrections after the order is placed. You will not discover these rules after paying.

A ₹200 Telegram PDF against our ₹599 held booking

Walk through the Devaraja Market area and you will find agents quoting ₹150 to ₹250 for a flight itinerary. Most of these are one-page PDFs made in a template, with a reference number invented on the spot. Some are screenshots of an old booking that was cancelled months ago.

Officers at VFS Global Bangalore see these every week. They take the reference number, open the airline website on the counter system, and type it in. If the number does not exist, or the booking was cancelled, the file goes back with a note. I have seen a Schengen applicant from Kuvempunagar lose a slot this way in January.

For ₹599 you get a booking that opens on the airline website, in the name on your passport, on the dates you entered, with a return sector if you asked for one. The extra ₹350 or so is the difference between a document an officer can verify and a printout he can dismiss.

Four steps, and where your money goes

  1. Open the booking form and enter the passenger details, route and dates. Upload the passport bio page so the names fill automatically. Read every field once more.
  2. Pay ₹599 per passenger through Razorpay. This is a one-time fee for the reservation document. It is not refundable after the order is placed.
  3. Watch your email. The itinerary PDF with the live PNR usually lands in about ten minutes. Check the name, the dates and the route against your passport.
  4. Print the PDF and add it to the file. If the appointment is more than three days away, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you whether the hold is likely to stay active.

The Kuvempunagar family that booked too early

Sunil Rao runs a small fabrication unit off the Kuvempunagar main road. In the last week of November he booked Schengen appointments at VFS Global Bangalore for himself, his wife and their son, aiming for a Netherlands trip in April. A friend sent him a ₹200 itinerary from an Instagram seller, and he filed it without checking anything.

At the counter on 8 January, the officer typed the reference number and got nothing. The booking had been cancelled in December, the seller had stopped replying, and the three files were returned. Sunil paid ₹1,800 again for fresh appointments in February, plus a day of lost work and a night in a Bangalore hotel for the family, close to ₹9,000 in total.

He called us on 6 February, two days before the new slot. We issued three reservations at ₹599 each. He checked each PNR on the airline website that evening, printed the pages, and the files went through without a question. His advice to neighbours now is simple. Pay the ₹599, verify the PNR yourself, and never leave a reservation sitting for two months before the appointment.

What Mysore applicants say about us

★★★★★

Applied for a Schengen visitor visa with an appointment at VFS Global Bangalore on 18 February. Ordered two reservations in the evening and the PDFs came in eight minutes. The officer typed the PNR, it opened, and he only asked for the hotel booking. Paid ₹1,198 for both of us.

My UK visitor visa slot was at 9.30 am in Bangalore, so I ordered the day before from the train. Name auto-filled from my passport and the route was Mysore to London via Bengaluru. Nothing was queried at the counter. The whole thing cost ₹599 and saved me a real ticket.

Needed a US B1/B2 itinerary for a 12 December appointment. The reservation arrived fast and the PNR was live when I checked it. Note that they do not change anything after payment, so read your date twice. Mine was right and the file was accepted without comment.

Cheap dummy ticket in Mysore: eight questions applicants ask

Is a cheap dummy ticket in Mysore accepted at VFS Global Bangalore?

Usually yes, when the reservation carries a real PNR that opens on the airline website. The officer at the Bangalore centre checks the reference number and the passenger name. A printed itinerary with a live booking is generally treated as proof of travel intent. A homemade PDF with an invented number is not, and files do get returned for that reason.

How much does it cost for a family of four?

₹599 per passenger, so ₹2,396 for four people. One way or round trip, adult or child, the rate does not change. Payment is through Razorpay by card, net banking or UPI. There is no urgent-order charge, and no separate fee for a child travelling on the same reservation.

How fast will I get the reservation in Mysore?

About ten minutes after payment, by email. Some orders come through in five. If your VFS Global Bangalore appointment is the next morning, you can order the previous night and still print the page. Keep the email open at the centre in case a question comes up about the booking source.

How long does the PNR stay active?

Usually a few days, and sometimes up to about two weeks. The airline sets the exact cut-off, not us. Because of that, order 1 to 3 days before the appointment. A reservation held for a month is likely to drop before an officer ever sees it.

Can I change the date or spelling after paying?

No. The reservation is issued exactly as entered on the form, and there are no changes, revisions or re-issues after the order is placed, free or paid. Check every field on the screen before you pay. If a date is wrong, the correct one means a fresh order at ₹599.

Do I need a return flight for a Schengen visa?

Most consulates want proof of both sectors, so a round-trip reservation is safer. Some accept a one-way booking when the purpose is a one-way move, such as a student joining a course. Our price is the same either way, so take the round trip when you are unsure.

Will the officer call the airline to check?

Rarely, but the reference number is typed into the airline website at the counter. That check takes seconds. If the PNR opens and the name matches the passport, the reservation usually passes. If it does not open, the file can come back the same day.

Do you serve applicants outside Mysore city?

Yes. We are based in Mangaluru and issue all over Karnataka, including Mysore, Mandya, Hassan and Kodagu, for appointments at VFS Global Bangalore and the consulates in Bengaluru. Everything runs over the website and WhatsApp, so nobody has to travel to buy the reservation.
